The X-Stream Network announces new alliance to help the X-Stream Jobseeker

London, 23rd August 1999 - The X-Stream Network, the UK's first free and one of the leading UK ISPs, has signed an agreement with CityJobs (www.cityjobs.com). This deal will provide X-Stream (www.x-stream.com) users with access to the UK's leading specialist recruitment site.

CityJobs focuses on financial, IT, accountancy, legal and media vacancies, which are appropriate to the needs of many of X-Stream's registered users.

Greg Sukornyk, CEO of The X-Stream Network, comments, "The agreement with CityJobs is the next step in X-Stream's campaign to ensure that all our users have the information they need on-line for free. The Internet is fast becoming the most popular way to seek employment, so it is only natural that X-Stream should provide this service to its users."

Stephen Anderson, CEO of CityJobs Worldwide Ltd., comments, "X-Stream and City Jobs form an ideal partnership. X-Stream is focused on providing high quality Internet services to its growing number of users and this will in turn bring them to CityJobs, the UK's leading specialist recruitment site."

CityJobs has a number of features which make it the first choice for recruiters. All vacancies published on CityJobs are published onto fully branded company templates, incorporating company logo and colours. All vacancies can be edited or deleted at any time and all are searchable from the Yahoo Jobs and BT ChangeJobs channels.

For the X-Stream Jobseeker, CityJobs allows storage of CVs on-line, securely within the site. CVs will only be utilised when the user specifies an interest in a particular vacancy. With an estimated 4.5 million CVs posted on the Internet, the partnership between CityJobs and X-Stream will allow its users an additional service and expand the CityJobs vacancies user base.
