WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23, 1999--Starnet Communications International Inc. SNMM ("Starnet") is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Starnet Communications Canada Inc. is now accepting offers for the purchase and the sale of the assets comprising its entertainment division.

This will include the flagship sites, www.sizzle.com and www.chisel.com, as well as 9 other revenue generating sites and approximately 50 other promotional sites. Since the commencement of operations in 1995, Starnet has emerged as one of the leading providers of entertainment services via the Internet. This divesture will allow Starnet to focus all available resources on the further development of its core Internet gaming businesses

Starnet intends to proceed with the sale through an auction process. Starnet intends to have the sale documented within 30 days.
