Rarebird-the majors Canadian brokerages must be seeing the market (and manipulation) in a different light. In my (Canadian) juniors I have noticed some of the Tier1 brokerages(DS, ML, SML, NB etc) in what appears to be a "loading up" mode. I know that my own brokerage is calling for a "trading rally" in the third week of September, coincident with the next BOE sale.

On this one junior in particular is up 47% so far today (EXL- on the TSE). Could be just the play itself; but in general the presence of the Tier1 brokerages is interesting to say the least.
