Dear JCJ:So much news so quickly. Could you or Qwiksand summarize the significance of Sun's acquisitions, the Corona appliance and IBM's discontinuation of the net computer:

From Motely Fool:

"As a fellow Fool recently noted, Sun's hardware is now used by 15 of the top 20 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and runs some 80% of Internet backbone traffic. However, the company is not ready to stop there.

Sun sees a huge market opportunity opening up as companies transition their information technology spending toward creating scalable e-commerce applications, instead of pouring money into legacy Y2K and back-office enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation efforts. President Ed Zander and Co. plan to drive a software truck right through this opening, offering e-commerce wannabes everything they need to develop the applications necessary to power their new e-businesses. This is where Sun sees Forte fitting into the mix."
