lol...i have never seen Dr. Katz. I'll have to check it out. I'm not sure I can help much on memoirs. The most recent one I read was "Surely you're joking Mr. Feynman" which I thought was great. Also read the book about him "Tuva or bust". But I am biased since I knew the guy. For historical stuff, I have become a total Ken Burns documentary (pbs) addict. Watched the entire "Civil War" series...before that a two vcr tape biography on Thomas Jefferson...now watching his series "Ken Burns' America"...I have "The West" and "Baseball" on order. "All over but the shoutin'" by Rick Bragg is excellent, imo. It is autobiographical of a guy that rises above tough circumstances to win the Pulitzer Prize. Very well written.
