Of course I would (and do!). The RE comes from planning trying to ride a trend or depending on support/resistance that isn't applicable to the time frame you're operating in.

But using multi time frames is real important. I traded AMGN 3 times today on a "breakout" above an 80 gap on the daily. I used 84 as a target since that's a short term high bar. Knowing where the daily S/R exists helped plan safe and profitable exits.

Wish the markets gods created more cup and handles on the 5-min. My life would be happy, happy, joy, joy.
