I think DDR is probably DOA anyway so it may be moot...

That would be good. It wouldn't hurt to pound another nail into the casket, though, if possible. I can't imagine they'd see much in the way of design wins with that sword hanging over their heads.

OTOH, I would assume that the DDR folks know this already and are doing everything they can to design around the Rambus patents to avoid this problem. We'll see.
