A cynic might say that marrying a med student and putting him through school is among the best investments a woman can make. If he doesn't dump you, you're fixed for life. If he does dump you, hire a good lawyer and you're fixed for life. If I were the woman I'd pray to be dumped, soak him for a decent sum in alimony, move to some country where dollars go a long way, lie on the beach, and have hard-bodied young lads peel my mangoes for me. But I suppose that is a male perspective....
