Dave, I think this would all be simpler if we were all in a bar sharing a few brews, because then once has body language and tone and inflection to go by.
We all have something to add, my point was that if we get our feelings hurt, none of us, myself included, should ratchet it up. Hell, within a few days of us all being nice to each other, [while continuing to disagree on major issues] we may all find we prefer it that way. Hopefully at least.
It's fairly efficient to surf. Oz newspapers post at 1300 EST, Guardian and Mail (Joburg) is sometime in the late pm, FT at 2100 and Zambian papers are up (some of the time by 0900), so you can read most of the world news in 1/2 hr in the am and 1/2 in the pm. Still waiting for a good Russian link in English.
Interesting short piece in MB last Friday saying that Chinese are buying cobalt, price is up slightly and inferring that US, Japan and Europe are still on vacation.
At your leisure can you fill us in on your estimates and time line for Ni and Co prices. It sounds like you're somewhat bearish on laterites and bullish on VB. But even if they get things worked out with Newfies, there is still no metal for 3-4 years right? And do if and when they go into production, do you foresee Inco flooding the market with metal? |
