I don't believe I am judging motives here, David, but fruit.

To refer to John and Terrence as "Twins of Satan", or "Drooling Pavlovian Puppies", doesn't seem to give too many options as to how you regard them in your heart, now, does it?

They are intelligent people. They are educated people. They are a bit caustic with the tongue at times. But they are people. They need to come to know God, not as a philosophical construct, but as a real person. As do we all.
