mike, you just got to love these stocks. David Ryan has a trading Method that is writen up in the book Market Wizards, written by Jack Schwage I'll explain how he trades these stocks with great results. basically he buys on the breakout; say the one that sdli had today and he put a 7% stop loss in place. He gets stopped out 50 % of the time but the one's that do not get stopped out go up 25, 35,50 or 100% and hence his method does well. it has more details than that but I am off to the store...more later.
