What do you think of Digital Island [ISLD]... Ahhh, the "Global Intelligent Network" with LCM's delivering the right content to the right customer at the right time. Seems like these folks gear up for the niche in e-commerce with strategic POPs and servers. Looks like a more managed and directed form of Frontier/GlobalCenter/ISI but geared for e-commerce. Have not read the 10-Q but they locate fast--now in Hong Kong and a few sites in US, including NYC, London and Honolulu and Santa Clara. Different business from MFNX and AboveNet tho-- Seems like ISLD could use their services for managed transport. The whole internet runs on least hop routing you know ;-)) and I believe ISLD means LCM, Local Content Managers, when they say intelligent. Hows that for a quick shot ?
