I was running a search under "natural" when I came upon this thread.
would like to make a few points / factoids really.
Urine Therapy is probably Indian in origin, there are sanskrit terms for it (though that does not make it Indian automatically).
My # 1 reason against it would be , Why ingest something that your body thinks is a waste product?
The answer to which is "it is only waste at that moment" many of the chemicals in Urine are also in your own blood , so think of it as blood minus the color"
So I guess I am neutral to the whole thing, some one on this thread said " It is full of Chemicals". Well natural products are chemicals too, but less harmful as they are in low dosages. How ever It might not be such a good idea to ingest it if you are taking a bunch of medication, as then your Urine would contain a lot of "unnatural" products.
Another factoid, Some company that rents out all these Porta johns is supposedly selling Urine to extract vital chemicals"
Just because it is natural and kind of on the fringe does not make it a cure all, might be good for soft skin or something benign but not for curing serious stuff JMHO
Your are likely to find a livelier discussion on this if you go to places like Ask Dr Weil or Koop etc than SI.
