Just a few thoughts, FWIW...
NN has reduced their expectations. They're really in a no win situation this qtr. If they meet the numbers, they set the appropriate "reduced" expectation and the stock is priced for this.
If they blow away the number, they'll be perceived as a poorly managed company that has no control over its destiny.
If they miss the number....nah, let's not go there. I expect to see little change in NN stock in tomorrow's results. The CC will tell another story. Questions to bear in mind:
Is NN on track to fix its supply management problems ? Have these problems resulted in any lost business ? What new business has NN won or expects to win shortly ? Is NN on track to deliver on their IP strategy ?
This along with book to bill ratios, DSOs, y/y growth, revenue mix between TDM/ATM, competitive position vs LU,CSCO and NT with new products, will , IMO, be much more telling as to NN's short term future stock price.
Looking forward to Pat's detailed update for tomorrow evening when I get back from my golf game <vbg>
Good luck,
peppe
