One of my roomies was a Chemistry major (my claim to fame roomie- the PhD from MIT). SHe didn't smell funny, like TC's date, but she did end up for a time as a partner in a company that was developing a method to convert human waste to drinking water out in space. THis was a conversation stopper at reunions.
However she was great at limbo and could drink everyone under the table so we forgave her.
