Superbug' concerns grow
Reports detail cases of untreatable Staph bacteria
By Robert Bazell
NBC NEWS

Feb. 17 — It is a terrifying scenario — a
world where antibiotics no longer protect
us from common life-threatening
infections. But it is a prospect growing
ever closer. “We think it is a very
important public-health problem both in
the United States and throughout the
world,” says Dr. William Jarvis.

nbc and msnbc did a story about a supper bug that killed
4 kids last month. the staff infection had no reaction to any
anti-biotic that was tried. the kids 2 each from n.dakota
and minnesota came down with flue like symptoms. the story
came to a conclusion that the new supper bug has come and that
a diffrent way was going to have to be found to fight it. they
ended with a doctor saying that the human immune system would
probably be the answer ie.. a vaccine.
