here's the response I got from schwab concerning the certs I'd requested: We can understand your concern and sincerely regret any inconvenience the processing delay may have caused you. Our records indicate that we have requested that the shares be issued to you in certificate form. However, due to the fact that they are restricted, the processing time is greater than that of a general certificate order. Generally certificate orders will take 6-8 weeks. Our Restricted Stock Department has advised us that the earliest that you may receive this certificate is in mid-September. Unfortunately, the process of ordering out a certificate is mandated by the Transfer Agent, and our ability to expedite this process is limited at best. Please feel free to contact your Signature Services Platinum team if you should have additional questions regarding the status of this process. We can assure you that we have taken the necessary actions to assist you in completing your request. We sincerely hope that this information will be of some assistance to you.
