My damned Garmin GPS 55 failed too. You know the one. It was handed out to all the US troops in the Gulf war because the armed forces ones weren't ready for action. Damned thing helped our boys and girls win that war against Iraq. Poor bastard got nuked by the satellites. I hear there is a fix, but its a hardware one, and I have to send the poor thing to Kansas to get it fixed for $125. Planned obsolescence. Pisses me right off!
