Voop, so from your comment, this may mean that Wind's Vxworks provides the RTOS kernal that is needed to run the software on the set top boxes which allows the GMST navigator software to run? Sorry to respond so late as I am once again behind in my reading. Gemstar's guide functions with or without an STB and may reside independent or integrated with the OS. Regards Stew
