Re: CLON - A Postscript

Neural networks do exist and some day chips will be "organic" in nature. Also, the cloning technique presented is based on real science, although the best the scientists could do was get 8 cell divisions using it.

The scary thing is that, had I really intended to scam people, I could have linked to real research sites on the web to support each of the scientific claims. The real leap of faith is in believing that the two technologies can be married together. I doubt many people on SI would actually be able to prove otherwise. And if someone did, would we even care as long as the stock price continued to rise?

P.S. Oh, and one more thing. Did I do this to teach people a lesson? Heck no, I just wanted to have fun. And, believe me, I did! <ggg>

Happy April Fool's Day everyone!
