After getting a cell phone for free, who wants to pay $1500 for a phone? Although Schwartz did say that Vodafone would be giving away phone for free in the UK. Can anyone confirm that this is still the case? And I do not want a phone that will not work indoor. Do you? PEopel will pay up for phones with features. Witness the CDMA Star Tac which was nothing special, coming out at $499. The new Nokia phones will get $799. A price of $1500 is too much, but half that is not a problem. As for working indoors, or in a car, I don't see that as a problem. Use an antenna. It would have worked for Iridium too but nobody could find one. Just have the magmount antenna available and all will be well. Have the setup available that outfits a house. Deliver--that's the key.
