INTEGRITY INCORPORATED EXPANDS ONLINE PRESENCE TO INCLUDE AOL THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH CHRISTIANITY ONLINE
MOBILE, Ala., Aug 24, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Integrity Incorporated (Nasdaq: ITGR) said it entered into a partnership with Christianity Online to develop a praise and worship Web community for subscribers to America Online.

"Our presence on AOL gives us access to the largest online community in the world, many members of which do not regularly surf the Web. This is a tremendous opportunity to grow awareness of www.integritymusic.com and our e-commerce initiatives," noted P. Michael Coleman, Integrity's chairman, president and chief executive officer.

The Christianity Online site, a division of CTi (Christianity Today Inc.), was started in 1994 when CTi became an AOL partner providing the Christian content site for AOL. Since then, Christianity Online has grown from hundreds of users to ranking among the top AOL sites, logging 370,000 visits in July 1999. In addition, Christianity Online has its own Web site at www.christianity.net. Through the two sites Christianity Online is logging over 5,000,000 page views per month. The key words to access the America Online site are "CO" and "Integrity."

These sites will link with Integrity's Web site and state-of-the-art online store, www.integritymusic.com, which includes a number of features that make it easy for visitors to sample and purchase praise and worship music and other Integrity audio and video products.

The agreement between Integrity and Christianity Online calls for praise and worship music to occupy a permanent slot in Christianity Online's music and media channel and to receive regular front-page, main-menu promotion. There also will be on-line chats, contests, special and holiday-related events, and a worship leader forum. In addition to the exclusive direct link to Integrity's online store, Christianity Online subscribers will be able to access CBA's (Christian Booksellers Association) locator to find nearby Christian bookstores.

Coleman said, "This is a great partnership with overlapping interests among constituencies. Integrity is the market leader in praise and worship music, and Christianity Online's research indicates tremendous interest in praise and worship music among its subscribers. As a matter of fact, in a recent survey, 61 percent said they preferred praise and worship music toall other music genres."

Coleman said the partnership also demonstrates Integrity's strategic commitment to promoting the growth of praise and worship music through the Internet. "We have the product, the distribution system and the capacity to reach out to wider markets. It is gratifying to have a partner like Christianity Online, whose subscribers share our appreciation for praise and worship music," he added.

Integrity Incorporated is a leading producer and publisher of Christian music, including praise and worship, children's and gospel. Its audio and video products are sold throughout the United States and in more than 140 other countries worldwide.
