the non-captive guys active on Zoran's chip turf are CUBE, ESST, SGS/Thomson, LSI Logic, Sony, iCompression and for "Coach" (camera chips) NMGC and SoundVision. I may have left some out, also as for LSI and Thomson, they are public, just forgot their codes. Most of last years MJPEG revenues now victimized by new MPEG-2 encoder designs from CUBE and LSI. Zoran's current name to fame seems to be DVD solutions.
