Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. Delivers First Voraxial Separator -VAS- System for Commercial Usage
Company Sees Widespread Application for New Technology in Various Industrial Processes
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1999-- Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. (OTC BB:EVTN) announced today the delivery of its first commercial system to be utilized for waste water purification in the metal finishing industry.
The company's proprietary Voraxial Separator (VAS) device was delivered last week to a Florida-based metal finishing company as a turnkey operation system to process and purify contaminated water from its various lines of operation. Upon purification the water can now be reused immediately, thereby significantly reducing the time and costs associated with previous separation procedures. Certain models have predicted that the use of the VAS will provide up to an 80% reduction in total expenditures associated with the purification processes currently used in the metal fabrication/finishing industry. Furthermore, with respect to the metal finishing operation mentioned above, independent laboratory tests have proven that the VAS has purified the contaminated water to levels far better than those required by the Environmental Protection Agency.
The patented VAS is a continuous flow turbo machine that provides for the real-time separation of a mixture of fluids or fluids and solids based upon their respective specific gravity. Separation is accomplished through the creation of a strong vortex as fluid flows through the pump. The technological superiority of the VAS over conventional technologies is in its ability to produce a real-time, high ''g'' centrifugal force to yield a high purity product or products.
''The delivery of our first Voraxial Separator is a major milestone in the history of our company,'' said Alberto Di Bella, C.E.O. ''Once the industry begins to realize the savings associated with incorporating the VAS into their production methods, they will begin to understand the competitive advantage they can obtain.'' Di Bella continued: ''In the United States alone we have identified over 100,000 sites in the metal fabrication/finishing industry that could benefit from the utilization of the our technology. When one considers the other industrial applications for the VAS, our potential market size is staggering.''
The Voraxial Separator utilizes revolutionary technology which, in some cases, enhances by orders of magnitude purification levels or makes available new processes in the areas of medicine, the environment, and various manufacturing industries. In addition, because of the dramatic increase in the efficiency and savings that can be achieved within many of the currently accepted standards for various industrial applications, Enviro Voraxial intends to pursue multiple marketing opportunities in many of the well-established environmental and industrial markets as well. Enviro Voraxial is confident in its ability to obtain the necessary components to meet the anticipated demand for the increased production of the Voraxial Separator because of the company's long established relationship with several suppliers like Baldor Electric Co. (NYSE:BEZ - news), Hughes Supply Inc. (NYSE:HUG - news), and SKF USA Inc. (Nasdaq:SKFR - news).
