m.philli, you have some good thoughts there. Let me offer the following:

I spoke with a diamond exploration geologist on this subject a couple of years ago. Concerning diamonds in South America, he said the alluvial finds have been "reworked" for aeons. That is, their sources are difficult to trace, if not impossible (whether searching paleo channels, or host rock).

I'm wondering if perhaps many of the alluvial diamonds have been concentrated from host rock sources which are by themselves uneconomic for mining. After all, a few hundred unenonomic host sources could weather a bunch of good stones over time.

On another subject, it looks like early enthusiasm for yesterday's press release is fading quickly. We were up $.49. ...now $.14 on modest volume. Just another trading day like any of those in the last few weeks.
