FpML is but the name for XML data tags for the financial community. It is my understanding that Forecross was asked to join the FpML standards committee because of its expertise in automated data migrations. The committee doesn't want to set standards that do not lend themselves to automated data tagging. It seems only logical that Forecross will develop packages to automatically tag data and that Sentinel/IM will be enabled to verify those tags before code is compiled and placed into production.
