i like gold because i believe the dollar is going to be shredded not because of an asteriod hitting the planet... this is pretty typical, somebody mentions gold and your avergae clown instantly thinks "the world is gonna end." gold is an alternative currency that asians and indians happen to buy alot of for other purposes. Demand exceeds supply in the physical mkt. as Asia recovers (it will) int rates will rise here thus iploding this mania equity mkt and sending the dollar packing. its pretty simple stuff. you guys keep harping on DELL for what a greta co it si, but nobody ever mentions PRICE!!!! a lexus is a great car, but it ain't worth $1 mil. DELL isn't worth the current valuation, and as the long bond appraoches 7%, it will look even more ridiculous, that's why you get a crash. $10 to $15 is appropriate for DELL, imo.
