Ron, I agree with you. I have done this myself with Mr B. I try and anticipate what he will do, and buy just before the 1st and the 15th in anticipation of the possibility that he will mention my purchases in his updates. It's particularly successful when he hasn't mentioned something for a while, and no news has arisen which would suggest he might drop it. Sometimes, one might not hold a position for more than 2 or 3 days. But that is my point. I buy simply because he might mention something, and not because of the play itself. While this is reality, my opinion is that Mr BB and others add risk by focusing investors on various area plays and inflating prices way beyond what is reasonable. Look at his picks right now, FAR, GMO, YRI, KLA, WSP etc. All have been inflated. Now look at a company you have probably never heard of: MFL. They have excellent results on their property, with an inferred resource of 2-3 million oz of gold. They did a PP of 3 million units recently that was sold out within days. Yet, they have no pro-mo machine and thus they are trading at a measley $4.50 or so. If BB had mentioned them, I bet they would be sporting a $9 to $10 price tag. However, at $9 to $10, the risk is much higher, and so I am thankful that MFL is trading at $4.50 because of a series of news releases that have reported positive drilling results. I will subscribe to BB because he is probably the best around, and one needs to be aware of what stocks he is in. But I worry about companies like CTQ. Are they really worth $16 to $19. They are discounting a discovery, and it had better be good. regards, Robert
