murrey.....yawn...

better not to do it at all, if it can't meet the standards that the media of spin requires....both image and corporate vision wise...

curious to know what dell advert budget is compared to say gtw....very rare to see any mainstream adverts on dell.....can't get to the masses, if that is to be an integral market,on word of mouth, wsj, ibd, computer mag adverts..........look at the ad blitz intc had with the pentium intro....that's a company that needs no adverts, sales by default....but yet name brand recognition, down to the little intc tune.....gates makes national news with all he does....ibm second most recognized brand name in world....dell pr done with home movie type presentation?

what do you think of the oct 1 siemens/fujitsu merger/kickoff...it surpasses dell as number two in europe for computers....the hell with china, why not press into developed countries......with the current weakness of cpq in the euro market, why not claim this will be your largest market outside of usa? population does not always equate to sales....maybe too much competition?
