I wouldn't try to speak on behalf of Michael Dell or any other CEO regarding taking over an interview. However, if I was the one being asked the questions I would answer them as directly as possible (which he did) and allow the interviewer to do his/her job (which he didn't.) If you recall Renee indicated he wasn't going to dwell on the price thing..and then of course he did. He really only asked two questions and the interview was over. I doubt he'd get by with that with the CEO of GE..but then again..that would be his last interview wouldn't it?

<<not the responsibility of the interviewer to pull the dynamic things out of the mouth or mind of the interviewee.....>> Oh, you mean by asking a question like "are there any new or exciting plans underway at Dell?" I think Renee would've easily flunked "Interviewing 101."
