Haim..

Does it matter if the cards and monitors are different?? Would like to use 17" present with a cheapo 15" just do not have space on my work table. Also video with about 2 Meg memory not 16 to watch quotes etc.

It doesn't make any difference what type of monitors you use but the type of cards is important since not all video cards work together. Most companies now know what cards work together. To be safe buy a card that is the same brand name as your present card and check with the manufacture before purchase to make sure your cards will work together. Most stores will not let you return cards for there full value after you have taken them out of the box. I know that Diamond lists the cards that work together on their site.

I have 4 monitors running without any problems on a Abit BH6 motherboard. I use a StealthII G460 (8Meg), Viper 330(4Meg), and 2 Viper 550's (16Meg) video cards. I have one cheapo 15", one cheapo 17" and two high end 19" monitors. In other words it can be done.

Although a 2Meg Video card should run quotes, if you are watching a ton a fast moving stocks and have up charts you are going to wish you spent $10-20 more and got an 8Meg card.

Best Regards
KEITH
