Unclewest:
The way I see it is: For every RIMM produced, Intel is making sure there is ample availability of RIMM socket's on motherboards to plug that RIMM into. They will ensure ample availability of Intel-made 820 motherboards at cheap prices so that the two-timing Tawainese motherboard manufacturers can not compete technology or pricewise with any other alternative chipsets from VIA.

At this date, Intel is telling those Tawainese manufacturers that "oops they screwed up and cannot supply them with BX & ZX chipsets in quantity". I have no problem obtaining BX & ZX motherboards from Intel directly. I can not say same thing from major Tawainese suppliers.

RMBS stock will slowly creep up until volume RDRAM availability is announced in January.
