Since you live in a Victorian, surprised you don't have hardwood under the carpets. If you have to lay it, make sure you get thick stuff. When it's refinished, about 1/8 comes off.

Yes, Corian countertops. Yes. Love them. As I mentioned before, my dad has them in his house and office, the ones in the house are about 20 years old and look brand new. Well worth the initial outlay.

Meeting a realtor at 7:00 to put an offer on a house. Only 1/3 acre lot, but the house is very large, the master bedroom is 21x13, there's one bedroom that's 16x12, and two that are 14x11. Living room 17x14, dining room 14x13, kitchen 21x13, family room 14x13, rec room 16x16. Asking price $270K, assessed at $235K, probably will offer about $250K. We'll see.

Ish says if I bought every house I put an offer on, I'd own most of the properties in Northern Virginia. Sure feels that way.
