Regine: I started feeling sorry for you (<g>), so thought I'd let you in on the joke and turn your frustration into some laughs. (Hope you laughed...)
And you know what? This WAS a good lesson, for me at least. Like you, it seems I've lost some money this past year, and the reason I lost it was because I was chasing stocks. It's that simple. And although I realized my past year's mistakes a while back, today - while playing the "hypester" - it really hit home.
I had a good laugh today, too (as I hope everyone did). More importantly, however, I think I finally realized the power of the Internet, the pain my greed has caused me this past year, and some important lessons in investing: take your time, do your research and, above all, don't chase stocks.
