Gentlemen, a few comments about this afternoon's posts.
First, my original post to Sam was done because it boggles--it boggles--my mind that a person would come onto this thread and bash, gratuitously bash, this stock into the ground in the foulest, most infantile, most vulgar, repetitive fashion imaginable. As if it doesn't matter! As if there is nothing at stake here! And then turn around and brag about his baseball team's success like everybody is cheering them on. And if all of this isn't insane enough, when I express a normal, human reaction to this farce, he gets all offended and bent out of shape. Where is the logic in all of this? It reminds me of a child who is rude and offensive, and when people react as you would expect them to, the child is furious about it.
Nobody has defended the right of naysayers to be on this thread more than I have. I am perfectly willing to hear other opinions. I will listen to logic, rebuttal, evidence, considered opinion; I even have tolerance for a snide remark here and there. But anybody who comes on this thread bashing this company with the gratuitous vulgarity that is repeated over and over and over, that person should expect a reaction from me and others. If you can't take it, don't you dish it out.
Secondly, do not think I'm going to dissolve because he called me a "bitch." I would like to tell you that I spend my days on the porch sipping mint juleps looking over the plantation fanning myself bemoaning the condition of the magnolia tree. Reality is a tad more harsh. Think of me as a "steel magnolia." It will be a cold day in hell before some crude simpleton runs me off this thread.
Thirdly, this appeared in one of the posts: "... Id like to see her standing in front of a food store at 7 am pushing music cards every saturday and sunday for 3 months......." Kids who work to support an expensive hobby falls a bit short of Mother Teresa.
Fourthly, thanks to all you gentlemen who expressed support publicly and privately. Your appreciation of my posts is gratifying, and I really am the nicest person you know. Ask Zeev. Ha! I will not be responding to any other posts on this subject as enough bandwidth has been wasted on a topic of questionable relevance.
