Hi Sonny,

Well you can call me Margaret anytime too. <gg> I almost posted earlier that you'd better keep your friends names strait, but then I might be nagging and Tony say's that's your wifes job. <gg>

About the rate hike, it almost makes me wonder if they had really made there mind up a while ago and were going to do it regardless of what anyone said. The market has a mind of it's own and if it wants to go up it will, and down for that matter too.

I'm not extremely worried about Y2K. At least my state has their ducks in a row. Our software wasn't affected much so not to much to sweat about there either. I don't know if you saw that but only 3 states are done with there Y2K changes. That really shocked me!! So, the most I'll do is stock up on firewood and fireworks. <GG> If nothing else it's going to be a first for us to be able to shoot them off in Dec-Jan.

We have had beautiful weather here for about the past week. The state fair starts this week so not only will we have a huge influx of 'country' folks but it is notoriously hot during that time. It sure doesn't seem like summer is over though.

I'm sure glad you didn't mention all those 'perks' that CA has. <GG> One that really sticks out is the price of houses out there. Even if the weather is wonderful 90% of the time it's still not worth it to me to live in a cracker box.

Speaking of housing, I am pondering dabbling into real estate a little. You know I hate those taxes (who doesn't) and am looking for some ways to build some assets with a few tax advantages. I can't remember if you own any properties or not. Well anybody got any advice?? Besides buy a house in CA, sell it and build a mansion in Nebraska. <GGGG>

I'm playing on AOL tonight, and this silly thing keeps telling me that I've been idle and do I want to stay on. Sheesh give me a break, I'm typing for crying out loud.

Well I'd better get off. Beautiful full moon tonight and clear skys so I think I'll go hang out on the patio for a while.

Have a great night and I'll catch up with everyone in the morning.

Take Care

Ann
