With the DJIA on a slight pull back off its record high, one would think there would be a lot of commentary in the media about the record and questions about where the market is headed. The bear talking heads that used to be common on TV business reports are absent. I guess the possibility of a serious turn in the market is not news at this time.

On another topic--
Last weekend's show was interesting in that there was discussion of two types of down markets: 1. Bear market and 2. secular bear trend. This begs the question: What fundamental conditions differentiate between a simple bear and a secular bear? Anyone?

Ciao,
David Todtman
