Let's see. 8-way Profusion. Cascades w/ 2 MB on-die cache. Carmel w/ DRDRAM.

When is Athlon going to go 8-way, or even 4-way or 2-way? When is Athlon going to get an on-die cache, much less 2 MB of it? When is Athlon going to anything faster than PC133 SDRAM? (Come to think of it, when is Athlon going to hit stores in the first place?)

Athlon hasn't even started to move on the server side. Once AMD does, then my attention will perk up. Until then, Athlon's success in the server market is merely potential.
