turf - i think this one is going off focus, it should focus on owning the teen demographic which is/has been its core competency with delias and gurl.com own your niche first and then embrace and extend amazon, yahoo, ebay, aol are all evidence of that starting with one key leverage point that it owned amazon = books yahoo = content ebay = auctions aol = user friendly service and now amazon = etail yahoo = content/community ebay = auctions online and offline aol = content/commerce/community/communication
