jd, anandtech article is terrific. re. patents reading thru this, it seems to me that some of the recent discussion may not have been completely accurate. remember i am not a techie... nevertheless it seems that rambus is very well protected with patents that describe exactly what some seem to think is not patentable. patents.ibm.com - see "First Claim" unclewest
