engineer: Guess this is a little like a broken record, but thanks again. This puts the 3 Com announcement with Sprint PCS in perspective. Reminds me that I suggested that those who are up to their ears in the Q and do not wish to go to quite 100% Q, do some due diligence following "luck lines" out from the Q to companies involved with Qualcomm. The obvious candidates are LWIN, G* and Loral. But there is also Sierra Wireless and perhaps Phone.com (not sure on that). Others? And now possibly 3 Com. 3 Com may be an interesting case since the stock price has been in the doldrums for eons. And the main business of the company has been in difficult straits. Yet the Palm business and now this new opening to the internet bypassing a modem is a first as I understand. Still slow, but a beginning. Comments? Chaz

PS Wonder if 3 Com is working with the e mail side of the Q (Eudora), as well as the wireless side? Mqurice?
