Jay,

Ron, the news and the dilution are totally separate issues. I can't add anything regarding the dilution that already hasn't been posted.

I think Ron meant to say that the news about the stock offering and the associated issue of dilution seem to have a counterbalancing or slightly net postitive effect. If SanDisk goes out and creates its own wafer production plant it is an indication that it has outgrown its previous business plan whereby they invest partially in a fab and get a fixed percentage of output. That was described by others as a "fabless" arrangement.

The stock offering is a clear sign of maturation of the company and I believe it is being interpreted as such. Are we moving to a much higher plateau?

off topic...

***I also believe the new generation of digital SLR cameras will gravitate toward CF or CF II. Either way this is big news for SNDK.

***The new iniative/consortium that people have posted here is also important and SNDK appears to have the technologies vital for next generation of removable memory.

I am also holding onto my shares.

Just gotta keep telling myself that.
