| I have been trading BEAM, KERA, VISX heavy over the last 3 yrs with great results.
This recent plunge in BEAM, KERA has mostly to do with secondary offerings - 3.5mil on BEAM and 4 mil on KERA. KERA blew away all earning projections while BEAM gross revs blew away, yet net earnings plunged. BEAM had P/E of only 14 until then, now a minus 159. KERA P/E was at about 90, then with blowout earnings PE plunged to 35.

Any stock offering add'l shares will drop due to dilution of share (more stock with same cap value = reduced price per share). Duh!

I have talked with many eye surgeons and opthamologists who rave about results using BEAM and VISX. One of the top laser eye surgeons in the US owns both excimer lasers and loves them both, however he uses the BEAM almost exclusively, with VISX as a backup. Where VISX kicks ass is that they lease lasers until Dr's decide to buy, then I am sure most buy VISX since they are familiar with it.

Between BEAM and VISX, BEAM has the best laser and, by far the best technology, scanning ten times the resolution over VISX lasers.

I trade, almost exclusively, stock options and have about a hundred K in options between BEAM, KERA, VISX, LVCI. Just one call in VISX more than paid for the entire laser surgery which I completed on 6/23/99.

All I can say is WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have worn glasses my whole life. I tried every contact lens available to no avail. I have dry eyes and no contacts have been comfortable. I have spent thousands on contacts, and more thousands on eyeglasses over my lifetime. The $3,200 lasik surgery was cheap!

It is like a miracle being able to wake up and SEE my clock, then turn of CNBC and see how the futures are trading, walk thru the house into my office (without glasses) without running into walls or furniture, see how wonderful the world looks without a frame around it.

My script: Buy BEAM, KERA, VISX then in six months, after these stocks have soared, use a little of the proceeds to get your eye fixed. If you are a fortunate one, not needing glasses, fine, you have a gift, then pay for your spouse or kid to get corrective eye surgery.

 You will never regret it!
