The banks and finance stocks will get hit by the Banc One earnings disappointment (10% short). The market may also take some hits on the durable goods orders being 3.7% versus the 1.0% forecasted. Economy looking strong, especially as it ramps up for Millenium Christmas season. That news would affect the S&P more than the Nasdaq.
