Enterworks(SM), the leading provider of software for enabling the extended enterprise, today announced a partnership with Active Software(tm), Inc., a leading provider of eBusiness integration software products, to provide organizations with the ability to fully integrate and automate all business processes essential to eBusiness. Under terms of the agreement, Enterworks will develop an Enterworks Process Manager Adapter, which will provide the connection between Enterworks Process Manager (EPM) and Active Software's ActiveWorks(tm) Integration System. The combined solution will enable customers to integrate work items such as purchase orders, requisitions and problem reports with mission-critical enterprise applications, thereby enabling real-time information flow.
With this agreement Enterworks also joins a coalition of industry leading companies as a member of the Active Software Global ActivePartner Program (GAPP). The coalition works to market complementary solutions ranging from high-performance servers to mission-critical enterprise application and development tools.

Availability
The Active Software/Enterworks solution is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 1999. The ActiveWorks Integration System can be licensed directly from Active Software or through select system integrators. The Enterworks Process Manager can be licensed directly from Enterworks, Inc.
