Rusty, not that I don't agree with your post, but for argument, what would it take to put phone function in a PDA? Qualcomm is suppose to be preparing a single phone chip??? What stops them from putting a number pad, and an ear and mouth piece into a Win CE computer, or a Palm Pilot and making them a phone? Seems like everyone is always trying to turn a phone into a computer, but what about the opposite?
Then, you step down the color graphic features of this high end phone when you are worried about download speeds. You know, switch the screen to gray scale and accept only text? Other functions you want such as spread sheets, databases, WP, etc will be there when you need it. Even have more function for downloading specialty files like corporate data.
Perhaps this question is too stupid to ask, but had to anyway.
