OTOT .being long this market is too risky for me....

John,

I don't hear a plan from you. You seem to have a vague feeling of discontent that you interpret as the potential start of a bear market. Guess what, you will probably feel the same way at the bottom of the next bear market. And you will probably feel the same way all the way through the next bull market.

It just may be that making money is uncomfortable to you. I picture a ship with no rudder when I read your posts.

Here's a suggestion. We have had 12 years that it would have paid to stay in the market. During that time there is a maximum length of time that the market has gone without a new high (no, I'm not going to tell you how long- if you care you can figure it out yourself).

This length of time with no new high is surprisingly short and it is highly unlikely that we would have a crash in such a short period.

If we go a longer length of time with no new high, assume we're in a bear market. Until that happens, assume we're going up. Now, there's a plan.

Best Trading,
X
