OT: Thought I might share an email I received from the guys at 911water.com discussing the difference between the Katadyn and British Berkefeld drip water purifiers. We just pick up another one of them for ourselves and gave our other water purifier to a relative. We wanted a larger capacity. ******** Ron, Just got back from UPS as your shipment and others went out this evening. The Katadyn is a good model, but I have found 9 out of 10 people or more prefer the British Berkefeld once they learn about it. I believe what catches their attention is that it is stainless steel, so it is very easy to clean, hygenic, durable versus the plastic that Katadyn carries. I may be wrong but the Katadyn doesn't take out the bad taste; the Berkefeld will. These are a few of the diff. Orders have more than doubled in the past 3 weeks. I can't imagine what it might be like in September, let alone October. We are trying to ship same day or next day, but we don't know how long we can keep that up. The manufacturer in England doubled their production capabilities this past spring. Even so, the Berkefelds are sold in 150 countries. You made a good choice Ron; these have been around for 140 years. If you know of others who are deciding my advice would be that once they have good information that they act on it. The waiting time could get hectic later on. Could you put our name out on some of those discussion boards even though it might be there...the repetition would certainly help. We are still trying to get a better position with the search engines, but that takes time. I believe we are one of the few who have been offering a free gift for 4 months now. And it is not just a token gift; the portable water bottle filter really is effective. Our entire family of 6 uses them. We have had some great comments from customers about them. Thanks again!
