Sure, Don was on the board of Sierra Semi, a designated ASIC house, later "famous" for it's modem business. We should not forget, however, that Sierra was a failure! Practically the only thing they did right was the Canadian investment, which - as soon as they (PMC) could break out of the notorious Sierra worldwide sales network - really took off like a rocket..
