On Tuesday, Aug, 17, 1999, John A. McCluskey, president of Grayd and vice-president of Inca Pacific, was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at a downtown Vancouver intersection. Mr. McCluskey, although seriously injured, will make a full and speedy recovery. He continues to be involved in the strategic execution of Grayd's business plan.
In the interim, Daniel Kostiuk will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of Grayd concurrent with his capacity as chief financial officer and director. Hans Smit, vice-president of exploration, will continue to direct the company's exploration program. Grayd is currently drilling the Dry Creek property with Atna Resources. Drilling will be completed in early September and assay results will be reported in due course.
Anthony Floyd, president and chief executive officer of Inca Pacific, will continue to manage the day-to-day business affairs of Inca Pacific.
The directors, officers and staff of Grayd and Inca Pacific join with friends and family to wish Mr. McCluskey a rapid recovery.
